1. About Lama Bot

Lama Bot is a third-party Discord application designed to provide server management, security and community functionality.

Depending on configuration and availability, features may include:

• Administration and server configuration
• Moderation
• Security and AutoMod
• Verification
• Tickets and support systems
• Economy systems
• Jobs, shops and inventories
• Leveling and rewards
• Giveaways and polls
• Suggestions and reminders
• Welcome and goodbye systems
• Role management
• Statistics and logging
• Artificial intelligence features
• Beta Testing
• Early Access features

Lama Bot is actively developed. Features may be added, modified, restricted or removed over time.

2. Discord

Lama Bot operates through the Discord platform. Your use of Discord remains subject to Discord's applicable Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Privacy Policy and other platform rules.

Lama Bot must not be used to violate or circumvent Discord's rules, restrictions, permissions or safety systems.

3. Eligibility

You may use Lama Bot only if you are legally permitted to use Discord and Lama Bot in your jurisdiction.

Users must comply with Discord's applicable minimum-age requirements.

Where a user is not legally able to enter into a contract or make a purchase independently, authorization from a parent or legal guardian may be required under applicable law.

4. Server Administrator Responsibilities

Discord server owners and administrators decide whether Lama Bot is added to their server and which modules and features are enabled.

Server administrators are responsible for:

• Configuring Lama Bot appropriately
• Managing roles and permissions
• Selecting enabled modules
• Informing server members where legally required
• Ensuring their use of Lama Bot complies with applicable law
• Ensuring staff members use Lama Bot responsibly
• Protecting API keys and other credentials

5. Acceptable Use

Lama Bot may only be used for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You must not use Lama Bot to:

• Violate applicable laws or regulations
• Violate Discord's rules
• Harass, threaten or abuse others
• Facilitate fraud, scams or deceptive activity
• Distribute malware or malicious content
• Steal passwords, credentials or authentication tokens
• Gain unauthorized access to accounts, servers or systems
• Circumvent Discord or Lama Bot security systems
• Intentionally overload or disrupt Lama Bot infrastructure
• Exploit vulnerabilities for malicious purposes
• Manipulate Lama Bot systems through bugs or exploits
• Attempt unauthorized administrative access
• Interfere with another user's access to Lama Bot
• Use Lama Bot for unlawful surveillance or data collection

Security vulnerabilities should be reported privately to the Lama Bot Project rather than intentionally exploited or publicly abused.

6. Moderation Features

Lama Bot provides tools that may allow server staff to warn, timeout, kick, ban or otherwise moderate members.

These actions are generally initiated by the administrators or moderators of the individual Discord server.

The Lama Bot Project does not make or control independent moderation decisions made by third-party Discord communities.

Disputes concerning moderation on a particular Discord server should normally be directed to that server's administrators.

7. Security & AutoMod

Lama Bot may provide security features including:

• Anti-Spam
• Anti-Link
• Anti-Raid
• AutoMod
• Verification
• Server Lockdown

Automated systems can produce false positives or fail to detect unwanted activity.

No security system can guarantee complete protection against every attack, raid, spam attempt or other threat.

8. Economy System

Lama Bot may provide a virtual economy including:

• Virtual currency
• Wallet and bank balances
• Jobs
• Shops
• Inventory items
• Boosters
• Mystery boxes
• Achievements
• Quests
• Events
• Leaderboards

Users must not intentionally exploit Economy bugs to generate currency, items, XP or other advantages.

The Lama Bot Project may correct virtual balances, transactions or items where reasonably necessary due to bugs, exploits, fraud, database corruption, abuse or administrative errors.

9. Artificial Intelligence

Lama Bot may provide optional AI-powered features using OpenAI.

These may include commands such as:

• /ask
• /chat
• /summarize

AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated or otherwise unsuitable for a particular purpose.

Users should not rely solely on Lama Bot AI output for important medical, legal, financial, emergency or safety-critical decisions.

Content submitted through AI functionality may be transmitted to OpenAI for processing as described in the Lama Bot Privacy Policy.

10. API Keys & Credentials

Certain features may require API keys or other credentials.

Server administrators are responsible for protecting credentials they configure or provide.

You must not intentionally expose:

• Discord bot tokens
• OpenAI API keys
• Database credentials
• Private keys
• Passwords
• Authentication tokens

Compromised credentials should be revoked or rotated as soon as possible.

11. Beta Testing

Lama Bot may provide selected users with access to experimental or unreleased features through its Beta Testing program.

Beta functionality may:

• Contain bugs
• Be unstable or incomplete
• Change during development
• Produce unexpected results
• Be temporarily unavailable
• Never receive a public release

Beta Testers are expected to report issues responsibly and must not intentionally abuse vulnerabilities or exploits.

Access to Beta Testing may be granted, declined or removed by the Lama Bot Project.

12. Early Access

Lama Bot may offer optional free Early Access features.

Early Access may provide access to selected features, functionality, Discord channels or other benefits.

The specific duration and included benefits will be communicated before Early Access is made available.

Using Early Access does not transfer ownership of Lama Bot, its source code or its intellectual property to any user.

Early Access functionality may still be under active development and may receive updates, fixes and changes.

13. Payments & Consumer Rights

Lama Bot currently does not offer paid services, purchases, subscriptions or paid Early Access.

If Lama Bot offers paid services in the future, applicable prices, durations, terms and consumer information will be provided before a purchase is completed.

Any future paid services will be subject to applicable consumer rights and any information required by law.

14. Licenses & License Codes

Lama Bot may use license codes to activate certain functionality.

License codes must not be:

• Fraudulently generated
• Duplicated through exploits
• Obtained through unauthorized access
• Manipulated to circumvent license restrictions

Fraudulent, compromised, duplicated or exploited licenses may be suspended or revoked where reasonably justified.

Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

15. Availability

We aim to keep Lama Bot operational, but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.

Lama Bot may temporarily become unavailable due to:

• Maintenance
• Updates
• Hardware or network failures
• Discord outages or API changes
• OpenAI or other third-party outages
• Database problems
• Security incidents
• Events outside our reasonable control

16. Updates & Changes to Lama Bot

Lama Bot is actively developed and may change over time.

Changes may be made to:

• Add or improve features
• Fix bugs
• Improve security
• Respond to Discord API changes
• Prevent abuse
• Improve performance
• Comply with legal requirements
• Balance virtual Economy systems

Where a change materially affects a paid service or mandatory legal rights, any notice required by applicable law will be provided.

17. Backups & Data Loss

Lama Bot may provide backup functionality and may maintain technical backups.

Backups cannot guarantee recovery from every possible form of data loss.

Server administrators should not use Lama Bot as the only storage location for critically important information.

18. Suspension & Termination

Access to Lama Bot may be restricted, suspended or terminated where reasonably necessary.

This may include situations involving:

• Violations of these Terms
• Violations of Discord's rules
• Abuse of Lama Bot
• Exploitation of vulnerabilities
• Unauthorized access attempts
• Attacks against Lama Bot infrastructure
• Illegal activity
• Material security risks

Serious abuse or security threats may result in immediate restriction.

Mandatory contractual and consumer rights remain unaffected.

19. Removing Lama Bot

Server administrators may remove Lama Bot from their Discord server through Discord.

Some previously stored information may remain temporarily according to our Privacy Policy, backup rotation, legitimate security requirements or legal obligations.

Data access and deletion requests can be submitted using the contact information provided in our Privacy Policy.

20. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, Lama Bot's original software, branding, documentation, designs and other original project materials remain protected by applicable intellectual-property law.

Third-party trademarks, libraries, APIs, software and services remain the property of their respective rights holders.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of Lama Bot source code or other intellectual property to users.

21. Feedback & Suggestions

Users may voluntarily provide feature suggestions, bug reports and other feedback.

Where legally permissible, voluntarily submitted feedback may be used to develop, improve or modify Lama Bot without an obligation to compensate the person submitting the feedback, unless separately agreed.

22. Third-Party Services

Lama Bot may rely on third-party services including:

• Discord
• OpenAI
• Network or hosting infrastructure
• Other APIs or technical providers

Third-party services operate independently under their own terms and privacy policies.

Changes, restrictions or outages affecting those services may affect Lama Bot functionality.

23. Privacy

Use of Lama Bot may involve the processing of personal information.

Please review our Privacy Policy for information about what data may be processed, why it is processed, retention periods and your privacy rights.

24. Disclaimer

Lama Bot is an actively developed software service.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not guarantee that:

• Every feature will always operate without errors
• Lama Bot will always be available
• Every automated moderation decision will be correct
• AI-generated information will always be accurate
• Every security threat will be detected
• Every backup can be restored
• Every third-party integration will remain available

Nothing in these Terms excludes statutory guarantees or other rights that cannot legally be excluded.

25. Liability

Liability is governed by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability where such exclusion or limitation would be unlawful.

In particular, mandatory liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, and other liability that cannot legally be excluded remains unaffected.

Users remain responsible for their own actions and decisions made using Lama Bot.

Discord server administrators remain responsible for their independent server configuration and moderation decisions.

26. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated when reasonably necessary because of:

• New Lama Bot functionality
• Changes to existing functionality
• Security requirements
• Legal requirements
• Discord platform changes
• Third-party service changes

The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates the latest revision.

Where legally required, appropriate notice of material changes will be provided.

27. Governing Law

These Terms are subject to applicable law.

Where German law applies, these Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules and applicable conflict-of-law provisions.

For consumers within the European Union, mandatory protections provided by the law of their country of residence remain unaffected where applicable.

28. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain unaffected to the extent permitted by applicable law.

The invalid or unenforceable provision will be handled according to applicable law.
